Puppy watch continues. prayers appreciated for us and the mum-to-be and her puppies!

Also I found myself slipping yesterday, picking up burdens that I'd already left with Jesus. In Your mercy Lord help me to stop doing this and to place my life firmly in your hands.

Lord I'm tired of building my own safe havens, and want to let go and trust You in every area of my life, including the calling. Help me, Help me, Help me. Amen

Prayers for you Lorna, and for the puppies on their way into the world.

prayers for the puppies to be and mum.

Prayers for you Lorna.

I think it is okay for us to have safe harbors sometimes to heal to be renewed and refreshed restored to be able to go out and walk on the water to Jesus again. I like how you said he was the safest harbor of all.

this is actually the gist of the last sermon I preached before going to egypt...and apparently no one in that (very small) had heard this interpretation before. I love the idea that we don't actually leave our comfort/safety zone in the boat, but we take a risk to get to that zone instead.

now i'm going to sleep at last...
