Lord,
How lovely am I?
Why am I so stuck on giving what I freely receive?
Watching others in a parade and missing in the action?
I pray that the Holy spirit moves within me today to chip away the stone around my heart.
To break open the pain and resentment that I hold onto.
And learn to be free.
In your mercy, hear me.
