O Lord

O Lord,
The house of my soul is narrow;
enlarge it that you may enter in.
It is ruinous, O repair it!
It displeases Your sight.
I confess it, I know.
But who shall cleanse it,
to whom shall I cry but to you?
Cleanse me from my secret faults, O Lord,
and spare Your servant from strange sins.

I admit it: I'm skeptical about prayers for weather. But the Walk Against Hunger in Philadelphia is the major project of my daughter's AmeriCorps year with the Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger, and I'm supposed to walk 6 miles that day, and the weather forecast for Saturday morning in the City of Brotherly Love is pretty miserable at this point, so if you're so inclined, I'd appreciate it if you'd please PRAY FOR SUNNY SKIES!

Hey, I pray for parking spaces, so weather is no problem at all. I'm on it.
