One of the things that accompanied me, followed me, surrounded me, wrapped me is that feeling of gratitude for whatever happens. That event was like being picked up by the scruff of the neck and shaken. And God says, "This is your only life! Just be grateful for it. Just be grateful that you've got these days and these hours and these wonderful people in your life. Just be grateful for that."

I am very grateful for those people and animals in my life. We are going to the vet with Molly at 5:30 to let her go on ahead. This is a very hard thing to do. I would appreciate your prayers. Thanks.
oh, songbird...so sorry. holding you and pure luck and molly in the light.
Oh, Songbird, I just saw this. I am so sorry and will hold you all in my heart and prayer.
Thanks to everyone who prayed for Nick's therapy appointment--he really liked the new guy. God is so good and your prayers are such a liferaft for me, dear sisters.
Oh Songbird, I just saw this, too. I am so so sorry. I have loved following Molly stories - I was out walking one day and heard a Wroo! Wroo! and thought: Molly? (Two of her kinsdogs.)
My heart goes out to all of you on the loss of your loving friend.
Thank you, I am grateful that it was quick and peaceful for her.
