Savior of the Nations Come

Savior of the nations, come;
Virgin's son, here make thy home!
Marvel now, O heaven and earth,
that the Lord chose such a birth.

Not by human flesh and blood;
by the Spirit of our God
was the Word of God made flesh,
woman's offspring, pure and fresh.

I have been so inspired and encouraged by the postings these last couple weeks... haven't commented because I hate to be a whiner... And God is kind to help me hang on to the promises I've been given.

I heard of a church from a friend of a friend of theirs who is wanted to do a church plant in my area. They heard about me. We are meeting on Monday (next week) to just 'chat' about ministry, the area, life, God, mission, vision and values... you name it.

SO pray for me that I will clearly hear God's voice - is this for me? I am very frustrated where I am, to be sure. But I don't want to stay or go for any reasons other than God's.

Pray for a clear eye and heart... for God's direction.

Oh - and pray for my sermon coming up on the 28th. I know it ain't no coinkydink that I'm facing all kinds of emotional attacks and spiritual opposition.

thanks...

P.S. A paper and a final and my semester is done... only 5 semesters to go...
