Earth Day Prayer

The earth is at
the same time
mother,
She is mother
of all that is natural,
mother of all that is human.
She is the mother of all,
for contained in her
are the seeds of all.

— Hildegard of Bingen

Thanks for the prayers, friends. I'm still feeling fragile (it WAS a very mean letter) but I'm knowing it could be much worse.

Church folk are on my side in this one and while I hate to have to be in a situation of any kind in which sides are taken, I'm feeling grateful that the folks have my back.

Juniper-

I am on the other side of the desk, so to speak. Not being fired, just not being hired as anticipated at the end of my internship. While I am trying to go in with a positive attitude and celebrate that I have done an excellent job... it still hurts.

I do not wish to fall apart today, nor do I want to beg for a job in a place that may not be what God wants... so pray for clarity of thought, gentle words and empowerment to be God's woman, in God's place and God's time.

Deb, you have my prayers for just that. It will sort out, I feel sure. Juniper, here for you, too.

Sigh...
Well - he's still sick. He has Lymes Disease and has been relapsing. It's affecting his concentration, memory, hearing, even his joints. So "the talk" is not today.

I really am buoyed up by prayer. What a difference it makes (you have NO idea.)

Walking by faith not sight...

Praying for you, Deb & Juniper. And for everyone on this list/blog.

Please pray for me for patience in my new-boss situation (still, again).

And for 9 year old Ben, who may need to go on anti-anxiety meds, and his mom, who is feeling guilty.

Prayers for you and your intentions, dear sisters.

We would appreciate prayers for discernment and moving logistics here. We are mostly packed and due to move on Friday but the new apartment complex is having seriously bad behavior. So we foudn a couple other possibilities but need to apply and make decisions rapidly and possibly before all the other information is definite.

The most appealing one at this point is a tiny condo that is super close to the beach (a major goal of the move) and very inexpensive which would help a lot too. But we need to make sure it's not so small that we'll go nuts, and the manager is a little hard to get hold of. So please pray that if it is meant to be all will go smoothly to get us there and if not we will know whether to stick with the original plan or slow down and do another rethink and new search.

Many thanks...I'm off to apply for tiny beach condo...
