Dear God,
Open my eyes to the beauty of this day.
The yellow of an egg yolk in a blue bowl.
The scent of bacon frying in the pan.
The soft caress of the morning breeze.
The sound of children at play.
Awaken my senses.
Let me see, hear, and feel the beauty around me.
And be aware of the presence of the Great Artist in my everyday world.

I'm entering a new phase in my ordination process -- I have an interview with the District Committee on Ordained Ministry next Tuesday. I'm not nervous about it at all -- but I am fussing about what to wear.... I need new shoes (again!)
Prayers going up Reverend Mommy, that all goes well and the committee discerns the graces and gifts you so obviously carry.
And for healing, Mother Laura..comfort and grace be yours.
Matt has made it through the tests; yesterday wore him out completely but today's exams went better. Now to wait for results.
Praying for all.
Please pray for me also...I'm freaking out a little after a confrontation with a VERY argumentative and angry faculty member.
Breathing...breathing...
Peace and grace to you Mary Beth, and RM and RP as you wait. And so glad that Matt got through his tests okay.
prayers all around.
love this.
prayers for you RM - don't worry about the attire it's your heart God sees and may they see it too
healing for Laura
for helpful results for Matt
for MaryBeth's peace of mind
for all who read this blog and all Rev Gals ... their families ... their friends ... their churches/ministry - God we bless what you are doing.
Amen
