You are the potter

O Lord, you are our Father.
We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand.

Friends, I would appreciate your prayers as I continue the process of trying to figure out what it is the Potter is trying to mold me into.

Saying a prayer for you right now, WC. I'd like prayer too. I am sensing that it MAY be time to leave my current parish. I have felt this for about a month, and now my husband, who is a chaplain near here, has a possible opportunity to transfer to a small city about 100 miles from here--too far to commute. Nothing appears available for me--but at the same time I have been feeling increasingly disconnected and restless. Could it be God? I do not know. DH is struggling with filling out the transfer papers, since we know we can't live on just his salary--and there are reasons to stay and reasons to go, but...well, I need prayer please.

I offer my prayers for you as well, singing owl. I want to say "follow that leading and trust God," but I know myself how difficult that is.

Prayers for you both WC and SO... Really hearing God can be so hard...

I ask continued prayers for Matt, as he (still!) awaits a diagnosis. Every test result seems to call for more tests.

Praying for Matt, RP, and you as well. Just because. :-)

Prayers for all...let us know how things go. And please pray for a friend in a similar discernment/healing process as well.

praying for you WC and Singing Owl. These are my struggles too - how to figure it out - but I also sense God is calling me, reminding me , to yield to his hands.

Scary thought!

Lord we pray for Your will to be done - for Your desires to become the desires of our hearts. Help us to surrender all things to You - in Jesus' name. Amen
