Vigilant God watch over my church, my family and me just as a vigilant mother would. Protect us from the evil one who would use our shortcomings to tear us asunder.

Please pray for my physical healing and inspiration, my friends. I was running into the bedroom today to answer the phone, kicked a bookcase by accident and broke my toe! It's taped up for six weeks--no exercise, no showers, and walking on crutches....And a bad cold on top of it.
I am very grateful it was the left foot at least so I should be able to drive before long, and that I won't need surgery as it first appeared for this kind of fracture.
*And* I need to write a proposal by tomorrow for the Medieval Academy conference next spring--probably on Hildegard. And needless to say today was a little crazy and distracted from reading and reflecting toward that. Matt also lost an afternoon of work taking good care of me and getting me to the doctor.
Also please pray for my sister priest Fran who is very stressed about preaching the Ascension on Sunday. I told her about Lectionary Leanings and Preacher Party :-).
