Upon Arising

Arise, my soul, arise, shake off your guilty fears;
The bleeding sacrifice, in my behalf appears;
Before the throne my Surety stands,
Before the throne my Surety stands,
My name is written on His hands.

My God is reconciled; His pardoning voice I hear;
He owns me for His child; I can no longer fear
With confidence I now draw nigh,
With confidence I now draw nigh,
And "Father, Abba, Father," cry.

Thanksgivings that God has given us two adult people in this house to deal with this troubled boy.

That way, one of us gets to throw up our hands temporarily while the other one carries on. It's not good cop, bad cop; more like, present cop and cop who has run away from home for a bit. Right now I am the latter.

Thanks for your continued prayers.

Great to hear that thanksgiving MB - it's not easy - but with each other to hold fort while the other takes time to breathe and re-focus - it's manageable. By the grace of God.

God we continue to ask for a breakthrough in MB's son's life. Amen
