Please pray for Melissa, the baby she is expecting, and her husband David (he is the pastor and she the good friend of my best friend).
After years of infertility and one adoption she may be facing her second miscarriage--and beyond the grief, the false shame and guilt are thus far keeping her from seeking support from anyone else in their small and loving town and parish.
Please pray also for my officemate Mari and her family. She is commuting this year which is already a stress, and her 99 yr old grandma is dying--and there is conflict among family members about extraordinary measures.
