O Divine One,
to thee I raise my whole being, a vessel emptied of self.
Accept, O gracious God, this my emptiness,
and so fill me with thyself, thy light, they love, thy Life,
that these thy precious gifts may radiate through me
and overflow the chalice of my heart
into the hearts of all with whome I come in contact this day,
revealing unto them the beauty of thy joy and wholeness
and the serenity of thy peace which nothing can destroy.

Please pray for Arv, facing a second round of cancer treatment, and for his wife whose name I forget, who is leading a school district while supporting him through the ordeal. My best friend, who teaches in her high school, said that both looked to be drained utterly dry when she saw them last week.
