Living Where God Dwells

How dear to me is your dwelling, O Lord of hosts!
My soul has a desire and longing
for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh rejoice in the living God.
The sparrow has found her a house
and the swallow a nest
where she may lay her young;
by the side of your altars, O Lord of hosts,
my King and my God. -- Psalm 84

FiestaBoy was really unpleasant and rude last night, and amidst all the unfair stuff he mentioned one really awful day during the midst of our crisis....He has a pile of largely justified hurt and anger about it, so we probably need to address it in a joint session with his new therapist. I have a call in and am feeling sick to my stomach, partly because I don't really know the guy and if he will treat me skillfully and fairly, and partly because even with the best therapist this would probably be painful and difficult. Doing lots of prayer in the meantime for the healing of everyone's memories (of that day and everything before and after that deepens its trauma), guidance for the therapist and for us in dealing with it, etc....Please join me in this prayer.
