Tuesday Prayer

if
you want,
the Virgin will come walking down the road
pregnant with the holy,
and say,

"i need shelter for the night, please take me inside your heart,
my time is so close."

then, under the roof of your soul, you will witness the sublime
intimacy, the divine, the Christ
taking birth
forever.

as she grasps your hand for help, for each of us
is the midwife of God, each of us.

yes, there, under the dome of your being does creation
come into existence eternally, through your womb, dear pilgrim--
the sacred womb in your soul,

as God grasps our arms for help; for each of us is
His beloved servant
never
far.

if you want, the virgin will come walking
down the street pregnant
with Light and
sing...

This is incredible, Juniper, thanks.

More prayers for us and Nicholas please--he was violent tonight and we almost took him to the hospital, so we hope to get an emergency appt with the psychiatrist tomorrow. He's growing and maybe heading into puberty (small but 12 in February) so probably needs his dosage increased. Matt the introvert especially needs some more gumption in standing up to him (in normal circs--he did restrain him tonight when he was threatening Katie and me). I usually end up being the one drawing the line at the verbal violence and then N. thinks I'm mean and unreasonable, und so weiter....Thanks.

Thanks, everyone--the psychiatrist did work him in and I hear last night went well (I was playing and singing at Taize at the parish, happy-happy). She had recently raised the dose on his bedtime mood stabilizer, and hopefully that will kick in a bit more yet. So instead of going higher on that she added an antidepressant in the morning, which should help with the negativity and obsessiveness. Please join us in praying that it works well--and rapidly!--with no side effects.
