Thoughts from Elizabeth of the Trinity

Oh, how great God is, and how we are loved!

It seems to me I have found heaven on earth
since heaven is God and God is in my soul.

She does not look at the paths on which she is walking;
she simply gazes at the shepherd who is leading her.

I raise my eyes and look at God and then I lower them on you,
exposing you to the rays of his love.

Let yourself be loved.

Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity

As noted yesterday...my stepdaughter Holley and her friend TJ are here staying with us for a few days due to the hurricane.

They arrived last night and TJ was having some coughing and chest congestion. This morning Holley took her to Care Now, and they sent her to the ER. It turns out she has COPD (they knew this but I didn’t) and her pulse ox was 83 at that time.

Please keep them both in your prayers as they deal with this scary situation.

TJ has no health insurance.

Hi, all...please keep in prayer my coworker Verna, who received troubling results from a second mammogram and now has to have a biopsy. Her mother-in-law is recovering from a mastectomy, so this situation is especially scary for her.

Please also keep in your prayers Darlene, Fellow Traveler's childhood pal from her hometown, who is experiencing her mom slowly slip away from Alzheimer's...is coming back to Michigan to spend some final time with her.
