Come, Holy Spirit,Spirit of the Risen Christ, be with us today and always.
Be our Light, our Guide, and our Comforter.
Be our Strength, our Courage, and our Sanctifier.
May this new year be a time of deep spiritual growth for us,
A time of welcoming your graces and gifts,

please pray for my church family--one of our elderly and oft-confused members died horribly this week. She wandered out of the house and got confused on Wednesday evening. They found her floating in the river early Thursday morning. Prayers for her husband Ed, who feels terrible that he wasn't able to keep an eye on her. And prayers for me as I'll be doing the funeral (my first in a funeral home) as the SP is on vacation.
