Tuesday Prayer

Someone once said that God can dream a bigger dream for us than we can dream for ourselves. Keeping that in mind, begin and end each day with this prayer or one like it: God of my future, show me the vision toward which you are leading me.

Please keep me in your prayers. I had a rude and unexpected slap in a performance evaluation this morning.

Thankful that I am leaving on vacation TOMORROW! and that my husband was available to talk some good, sympathetic sense to me.

*Sigh*

Also, prayers for me and my family would be appreciated - we're in the "signing a million pieces of paper" stage of buying a house. It's kind of bringing out the worst in me and hubby and we really need to be kind to each other right now...

Ah, you both have my prayers. Mary Beth, I can't imagine why anyone would be rude to you. You are a precious person.

Prayers for you MB--it is so hard to hear harsh words when they are unexpected...and Juniper I have been where you are many times...Both of you are in my prayers.

Friends, I need prayers tonight too. I have met someone special and we are both feeling drawn to each other. Tonight I was confided in, truths of a sort that have never been confided in me before, truly difficult truths, and I am struggling with the pain revealed in those confidences. I don't think they will alter my feelings, but I don't know. I don't know if they should. I don't think so.

At the same time, this is an incredibly busy and stressful time in my life and in the life of the church. I need calm and focus, but I also want to work through these revelations, which may mean more struggle and pain.

So...clarity, strength, compassion and serenity. I won't ask for patience, since as some wise person pointed out on this page, God generally answers that one by sending more situations that need patience.

Thank you sisters and brothers, and sorry this is so long.

God of my future, show me the vision toward which you are leading me.

Amen and Amen

Oh and wonderful picture.

Praying for God to whisper words of encouragement to you Mary Beth. May He restore you - and show you He loves you for who you are and not only what you do (or how well you do it) - with an everlasting love.

You are a daughter of the King - loved and very precious to Him (and us!)

Blessings on Juniper on the house buying - God put the papers in order and Help her find Your rest in the anxiety - and from that to love and bless her family and be loved and blessed by them too.

Lord let your truth and love be heard and felt by RP ... Help her to hear you and trust that You are the mender of the broken.

Also prayers for juniper and hubby as they go through this exciting yet stressful time, that can bring out the worse in a couple. Calm their spirits and release their anxiety so they may be supportive and loving to one another.

Prayer for rainbow as she discerns the possibility of a new relationship and as she listens to God's voice within to know the direction to take.
