Lost and Found

In those times I can't seem to find God, I rest in the assurance that God knows how to find me.-- Anon.

Please pray for Laverne, who is one of the caregivers for my 91 year old father-in-law.

She was just diagnosed with leukemia and is hospitalized for radical chemotherapy. Her condition is probably terminal--within the next few weeks.

Prayers for her and her family and for my sister and brother-in-law who depended on her assistance with my FIL would be much appreciated.

And QG, you have my prayers.

Prayers indeed, GQ. I am so sorry to hear the sad news.

Please pray for Diana, who will undergo hip replacement surgery soon. And for Ric who will be ordained an indpendent Catholic deacon for my friend Rev. Janine's parish tomorrow.

Concise & beautiful. Thank you. Praying for Laverne & your family QG ..and for Dianna & Ric.

I'd appreciate prayers for Pastor Dave and Pastor Kathlyn as they complete final weeks with their current congregations, and begin pastorates with their new congregations in July. And for me as I serve as Interim Assoc. with Pastor D now ... and to Pastor K beginning in July. Thanks.

Prayer going up for Laverne and for those in transition.

I am still struggling but seeking to surrender in trust to God my studies and His timing for all things... It is very VERY hard to do...

thanks for prayers and encouragement...

I just got off of the phone with a neighborhood mom... a girl who was an 06 graduate of my kids' high school was killed in a car accident this morning. She was driving home from college.... a drunk tow truck driver broadsided her car (he ran a red light) and she was killed instantly. They have a son who is a sophomore with my daughter. The family is devastated. Graduation is Tuesday... Funeral is Wednesday. Many of the graduating seniors knew her well... this is the fourth funeral for a student from the school this year...

Dear God, you know what we ask even before we ask ... so prayers for the family and friends of this young girl ... for those who care for our elders, especially those who also find themselves ill ... for pastors in transition and new church leaders ... for those facing surgery or other medical procedures ... these things we pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer! Amen.

oh yes :)

Lord hear our prayers for Laverne and Diana. Place your healing hand on them.

Bless Ric, Pastors D and K as they begin a new chapter in their life of service to you

We ask You to surround the family who's young daughter has just died in a car accident with loving kindness and a firm sense of your presence

We ask for your guidance and an infilling of your spirit for those who are struggling with seminary studies right now - especially Deb and little ol' me - Lord we would want to know your Will in this, and be better able to trust Your timing and the fact that it's You who opens the right doors for us. Help me at least see that a closed door can also be your loving hand on a situation - though I confess it's pretty hard to do just that right now. Lord I ask for more of you!

And above all thank You for all you do - the seen and the unseen - in our lives.

Amen

Thank you, too, Lord, for this place of sharing and solace. All these prayers are lifted in Your name.
