Cathy, that was beautiful! On a busy Monday morning, you have provided me with a moment of peace and connection and grace. Amen.

Very peaceful and needed...

Just got off the phone with a crying single woman... pregnant... wishing she had not done that impulsive one-night-stand thing...

Wanting to love and yet point the way to right living and knowing she already knows she blew it and I don't want to pour guilt onto her head...

Knowing that I fail the Lord every day and in a million ways...

God how can I be a pastor? Or want to be? I look to you in her moment of heartache and in my moment of supreme guilt because I have not lived the example You want...

I am moving on - - determined to LOVE BY GRACE...

Such a refresing reminder when we walk and live in a desolate world with other pilgrims on the same journey...

Beautiful...

Please keep Aiden in your prayers--he is a young transman who was physically attacked recently and is now struggling with fear and physical pain.

Aiden is lifted up....

Aiden is in my prayers.

Now I need to pray for me as I find it hard to feel much forgiveness or compassion for the attackers, who I know also to be oppressed by the fear they express through violence. How am I to teach love when what I want to do is take a crowbar to their heads?

Maria, praying for you. So many conflicts are kept alight by anger. It is a challenge to learn how to show strength and not give in to those who are abusive without being abusive in return.

Dear Lord - thank you for this - I watched it days late - when it's so cold here - and was reminded how it is YOU - and not us - who lift people up. We are only instruments - your hands, your voice, your love made visible.

Help us all to be instruments of peace, forgiveness, and reconcilliation. Amen

Thanks Cathy :)
