Awake

Awake, awake to love and work!
The lark is in the sky
the fields are wet with diamond dew
The worlds awake to cry
their praises to the Fount of Life
Christ Jesus passes by.

Come, let your voice be one with theirs
shout with the shout of praise
See how the giant sun soars up
God's gift for all your days!
So let the love of Jesus come
and set your soul ablaze.

To give and give, and give again,
as God's own grace is free
To spend yourself nor count the cost
To serve most gloriously
the God who gave all worlds that are
and all that are to be.

So beautiful, Cathy.
I would appreciate your prayers today as I feel overwhelmed by seeking the balance between home duties and my new job. I'm doing fine at the church, but don't have enough left over at home, and I'm deeply sad about it today.

Praying for you Songbird. Praying for you to find some peace and balance to your vocation as pastor, mother, and wife.

Please pray for my nephew who was involved in a car accident which required surgery to repair a broken femur.

praying Songbird also for Cathy's nephew

I've had a dark day - dealing with depression and a feeling of dispair. Prayers for light and life appreciated and for me to trust God more.

Lorna,
Praying for you that you may feel and see the light and feel God's loving embrace.

Praying for each of your requests as I read.

All your prayers will be appreciated for Gifted & Talented and myself. We each have appointments on Wednesday that hold promise for our future. His is job related, and mine is about what I will do when CPE is over (so job related). Our future has looked dim of late. Even the thought of possibility is exciting. Thanks to all.

Lifting each need up as a love offering to our God...
and Lorna, you do not travel this shadowed road alone...I am also on that journey...it's finding the Light that is truly there that is hard...
