Deep Peace

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the infinite peace to you.

hi -thank you for setting this up! I love the photo - brought a whole lot of peace to me - and the whole concept of this blog is GREAT!

I noticed that there's no anti spam feature - and I'd recommend we'd put in word verification otherwise it will be quickly over with unwanted spam - which a) can be hurtful and b) takes time to deal with!

I'm very glad there's the anon feature - some prayer requests need to be that way!

If we use the "invitation" feature of new blogger, only those ring members who ask to be included will be able to access the blog, so then we won't need word verification, I'm assuming. When I had that feature "on," even RingSurf did not recognize the blog.
I'm going to play with the features some more this week and hope to take this live by February 1st!

This is wonderful! Woohoo!

(I found this url in the gmail list...I sorta cheated!)

BTW, my original prayer partner and I are still in touch. :) Thanks for that friendship!

This is a lovely idea and I love the first post. Songbird, when you say invitation, does that mean only RevGals members will be able to post or read?

Yes, that's what the invitation function would do. And in fact it would only be those RGBPs who *ask* to be invited. This is voluntary. Someone would input the e-mail addresses to be invited. Right now it's available to anyone who types the address, but it will become invisible to the non-invited if/when we change the settings. This would allow some measure of privacy, although not complete anonymity.

Clarifying...

Would Ring members be invited, or just Corporation members?

sorry to be a little obsessive, it's been THAT kinda day

Ring members. Good question!

O Holy Immortal One, hear the voices of your daughters and sons, that through the knowledge and grace of you, we come to serve You and one another. Bless this site and its clear intent, and may it glorify You and witness to the rising of Your Son, our Savior. All this we ask in the powerful name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Amen. And thank you, Catherine+!

This is lovely - a quiet private place to pray. It feels almost like going on retreat. Thanks!
